It’s still a work in progress though.

I am in the process of an overhaul. Things have changed and I am changing this blog to reflect that.

I will be moving to a different URL.

When it is all set I will announce it here. This blog is fun, when I actually write, but it needs to be less work and more fun.

I haven’t decided if I’m leaving wordpress for blogger or not, but I want more freedom to edit my blog and not have to pay to make small changes to the coding of my blog.

I plan to attempt to transfer past articles to the new blog, but any old features I was doing, thing I love Thursday, the 365 project, etc are subject to change.

Also, I will say this only once, yes Bear, you were right, I have failed at the current 365 project.

Try not to rub it in.

I’m sorry for the lack of postage, life caught up to me.

So while I desperately try to get all sorted out I present to you a list.

All this has happened since my last post:

♥Bear come to visit right before Christmas

♥My job has been closed for the past two weeks

♥Just found out it will be closed for another week

♥Took two winter intensive classes (a 15week college class in 3 weeks)

♥Signed up for classes this spring

♥Discovered that Bear an do a splendid English accent while intoxicated

♥Made plans (not finalized though) to go up to Alfred to visit friends in March

♥Avoided a “divorce” with Tiny Plane’s “dad” (story soon I promise, and no I’m not dating him)

♥Merry Christmas and Happy New year

♥Made some resolutions that I probably won’t keep

That’s all I can think of for now, but I promise to be better about posting from now on.

I was down in the Stonington Borough when I spotted this.

What can I say?

I like squirrels.

These little elves are part of what I love about the Christmas season.

I only ever see it at night and my cell doesn’t seem to have a flash.

These bottles were on the back table at work with some plastic champagne glasses.

Tiny Plane had to take a picture with them.

His friends had to get in on the photo action too.

Sadly his friends don’t have names yet.

I open to suggestions as I  have no ideas as of yet.

My most recently finished project.

I think it will be part of my mom’s Christmas present.

So I quit my job at Forever21.

Sad I know, but other things had come along.

When I when to pick up my paycheck I saw this on the way out.

Haha, I was never the teacher’s pet in school, but I would totally wear it anyway.

I unfortunately wasn’t there looking for a pet.

I was buying live crickets for Fifi’s toad, eww.

I work (several places) in Mystic.

So I frequently wander in the stores.

Look what I found, a squirrel bag!

I braved Black Friday in Washington DC.

I almost got this shirt, but it wasn’t worth the hour-long wait in line.

day 59.

Ahh Thanksgiving.

The girls on the left and right are two of my sisters.

Jay is on the left and Fifi is on the right.

The girl in the middle is one of our cousins,  H-Dawg.

(They are underage so I don’t really want to post their names but this is an easy way to tell them apart.)

(I have a kinda big family.)

Every year we go down to their house just outside of DC.

It’s packed.

One room for the girls (there’s 5 of us).

One room for the boys (3 total).

A room for my parents (2 people).

And a room for my Aunt and Uncle ( also 2 people).

That’s 12 so far, plus my Grandma and Papa come for the dinner.

They aren’t related to my cousins, but they live near by and are invited as long as my Grandma brings pie.

That’s 14 people around the dinner table.

It’s so much fun and so noisy, until the food is served, then you can hear a pin drop.

My Aunt found these ans said they would be perfect for a college dinner party.

Oh, how I love her.

I saw these pretty cards in a bookstore in Mystic.

It shows where and I work and the store next to it.

And our drawbridge.

It’s super old and still works.

It goes up 20 minutes to the hour, every hour all summer long.

During the “off-season” it goes up on request, but only if it’s a big snazzy boat.

I’m only kidding about the snazzy part, it just seems like it.

There’s a bridge operator in that little white house on the far right at all times.

I wanted to wear this for Thanksgiving and in general.

The fashion police (aka my sisters Jay and Fifi) did not agree.

What do you all think?

My sisters didn’t like, well all of it.

I feel like something is off but I’m not sure what.

day 55.

Found this on my floor.

I have no idea where it came from.

All I know is it’s not a real coin.

Maybe I’ll make a necklace from it.

I still need a Christmas present for my brother…

day 54.

Yay ghost-like reflections.

This was posted on the door to my work.

(Yea, I work a lot.)

Any way, this looked cool and I was gonna see if I could participate.

Then I realized that I was gonna be in DC.

Oh well.

Also, I tried to make my family as un-confusing as possible.

It may be easy to understand and just confusing to me.

Like I said, I don’t want to use their names because they are my younger siblings and cousins.

I don’t want people creeping on them, not that you guys would.

It’s just in case some creepy guy starts reading my blog or whatever.

So I’ve resorted to nicknames.

It’s ok, they don’t know I have a blog.

They won’t know my plans for their presents or what nicknames I give them.

If I remember I’ll do a proper family post.

I promise I’ll stop rambling now.

To provide a little more back ground, Tiny Plane is from California.

He hitched a ride back with my friend Dan and has been adventuring with me since.

My love for squirrels started well before I met him.

It honestly started with the Redwall series written by Brian Jacques.

However, Bear was the first to call me a squirrel.

Apparently when I eat a Cadbury egg I look a bit like this

I really like squirrels and would love one as a pet, as unrealistic as that may seem.

Also, if anyone knows or can recommend an awesome graphic designer/artist /all around creative person,

I’m interested in creating a logo for my blog involving a squirrel and I would love some suggestions on whose work to look.

Something similar to this would be sweet,
